Dial the 5-digit extension
To call any university employee, office, or department, dial the five digit extension. Calls between university extensions are free.
- Local calls:
Dial: 9 + 7-digit number
- Long distance calls:
Dial 9 + follow calling card instructions
- International calls:
Dial 9 + follow calling card instructions
- DePaul Switchboard:
Dial "0"
The DePaul University switchboard can transfer your call to the desired university department when you don't know the number.
- Emergency calls:

- 900, 700, 976 numbers:
