Departmental Phone Bills
Charges for network & telecom access:
Each department will be charged an annual fee for network & telecom access.
The fees for FY06 are as follows:
- $732 annually per full-time employee (FTE)
- $183 annually per part-time employee (PTE)
FTE/PTE counts for FY06 were pulled from HR data as of May 3, 2005. For FY07
and beyond FTE/PTE counts will be taken during the April/May prior to the July
budget roll-out to have the most accurate count.
Information on how to plan for network & telecom expenses will be provided during each budget planning cycle.
Incorporate this fee structure into your budget planning when increasing
headcount in your area. The FTE/PTE charges may vary from year to year based on
changes to infrastructure costs and/or FTE/PTE counts.
Other things to note:
- Usage for local, long distance, and international calls are billed on a
monthly basis
- Budget managers can view their telephone usage reports on Campus
Connection. In the For Employees menu, select Reports and
then choose Telecommunications.

- If you need specific information on call usage for a particular phone
line, including in-coming call details, please review the

- All budget managers are responsible for reviewing their departments'
phone bills. If you have a question related to the telecommunications usage
report or the Pinnacle communications management system, please review the
