    Domain Name Service Requests

A domain name is the written form of a Web address (such as www.depaul.edu). In order to have a unique domain name, you will need to have a dedicated server that hosts your site through either of these two options:
    1. Your own server
    2. Your site is hosted by IS
If you are creating a university Web page and would like to request a DNS, complete the DNS request form.
    • Indicate your current IP address. If you do not know how to check your IP address, please call the Technology Contact Center (TCC) (Ext. 2-8765) for assistance.

    • Indicate the desired Web site name/address for the DNS registration
