PeopleSoft 9.0 Upgrade Archive
Fourth of July weekend
April 7, 2008
It’s not too early to start thinking about summer! The PeopleSoft 9.0 upgrade team has been working all winter to design and build DePaul’s customized Peoplesoft 9.0 environment, and this spring we are focusing on testing and preparing for the upgrade which will take place this summer over the Fourth of July weekend.
We would like to take a moment to tell you about a few exciting changes.
After the Fourth of July weekend, you will find an updated look and feel to some of the functionality you use in Campus Connection. For example, when you login to Campus Connection, you will have a personalized Student Center where you can view your academic, financial, and personal information all on one page.
Currently, many of you access the Course History Report in Campus Connection. After the upgrade, you will not only have a new Course History Report but also an Unofficial Transcript.
The new Unofficial Transcript is a report similar to what you are accustomed to seeing as the current Course History Report in Campus Connection. This is a report that includes information regarding your advisor’s name, major, minor, test credit, transfer credit, and DePaul coursework.
The new Course History Report is an interactive report that includes features such as:
- Ability to See Planned Courses
- Icons That Represent Taken, Transferred, and In Progress Courses
- Ability to See the Catalog Description of Each Course
- Ability to Sort by Course, Description, Grade, Status (Taken, Transferred, In Progress), Term, or Units
Additional Information
In the upcoming months, you will receive periodic updates about this project, including more information about new functionality, links for online training information, and important upgrade dates. More information is also available at http://upgrade08.depaul.edu. If you have any questions about the upgrade, please contact us at upgrade08@depaul.edu.
Thank you!
