Card Reader Types
Card reader equipment is available for several purposes, including:
- Security readers:
- Manage entry into restricted areas.
- Track entry information in high security areas.
- Copy readers:
- Point of sale readers:
- Purchase items at DePaul cafeterias and selected vendors around campus.
- Uses funds stored on the Demon Express account and DePaul's Meal Plan.
- Value transfer station:
- Deposit cash (in 1, 5, 10, and 20 dollar denominations) to Demon Express accounts.
- Check your Demon Express account balance.
- Vending machine readers:
- Purchase items from selected vending machines with your Demon Express account.
- Laundry readers:
- Purchase washer/dryer time with funds stored in your Demon Express account.
