Lost or Stolen Cards
To prevent unauthorized use of your DePaul Card, report a lost DePaul Card to the ID Services office immediately. If you lose your card outside regular business hours, please report the loss to DePaul Public Safety.
Once reported, your card will be deactivated so that it cannot be used.
Cardholders are responsible for all transactions that occur before the card is
officially reported missing.
The replacement fee for lost/stolen cards is $15.00
for students. The ID Services office is a cashless office, which means
that you will have to pay for a new DePaul Card with
Demon Express. You can
obtain a convenience card at any VTS machine (value transfer station) and
deposit the $15 replacement fee on the card. The replacement fee will be waived if a valid police report
is presented. DePaul security reports are not valid. DePaul faculty and staff
are not charged for a replacement DePaul Card. When you visit ID Services to
obtain a new DePaul Card, you must bring a valid photo ID.
