While in Bahrain, Holtschneider also signed an agreement to establish an undergraduate degree program supported by DePaul's College of Commerce and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to begin in fall 2011.

Now in its 10th year, the innovative educational initiatives were launched by DePaul in partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance to further professionalize the workforce of the kingdom, which is a leader in the Middle East in diversifying its economy.  Current degrees offered include a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Human Resources and Master of Science in Finance.
