On 20th Anniversary Of Americans With Disabilities Act, DePaul Experts Are Available to Comment On Its Significance
Established with the goal of ensuring equality, independence and freedom for disabled Americans, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 2010. As individuals and organizations prepare to reflect on the 20th anniversary of the world’s first civil rights legislation for people with disabilities, DePaul University has two experts who are available to provide commentary and insight on this groundbreaking law and its impact.

Judith Kolar, director of DePaul’s Productive Learning Strategies (PLuS) Program. Under Kolar’s direction, PLuS provides support to DePaul students with learning disabilities and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD).
