Exclusive Performance Of "The Confessions Of Saint Augustine" At DePaul University April 28

The legendary story of a self-documented sinner’s journey to sainthood, “The Confessions of Saint Augustine,” will be performed by Leonardo Defilippis at DePaul University at 7 p.m. April 28 at the Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago.

The acclaimed actor and director has built a reputation performing one-man shows based on the scriptures and lives of the saints. “The Confessions of Saint Augustine” is the modern-day story of a man steeped in a decadent and sordid lifestyle, whose passionate desires aren’t satisfied by the things around him. He undergoes a dramatic conversion and discovers the true answer to his passionate longing: God.

The performance is sponsored by DePaul’s Catholic Studies Program and is free and open to the public. The program is suitable for children over 12 years of age. For more information, contact Brenda Washington, at (773) 325-7423 or  bwashin1@depaul.edu.

Editors' Note: A J-PEG performance photo is available upon request: rbrown11@depaul.edu. For interviews with the artist, please contact Janice Gonzalez, Saint Luke Productions, (360) 487-9979.
