2016 Olympic Official to Discuss Chicago Bid, Recent Beijing Games at DePaul

DePaul University will host a discussion with Patrick Sandusky, vice president of communications for Chicago 2016, the city’s Olympic bid committee, in which he will review the current prospects for the city’s bid as well as lessons from the just completed games in Beijing.

 

The one-hour presentation will be held at noon on Sept. 17 in the DePaul Center, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., Room 8014. 

 

As a staff member of the Chicago 2016 committee, Sandusky was in Beijing through the entirety of the just-concluded 29th Olympiad.  Throughout his visit, he blogged about his impressions which can be viewed at: http://blog.chicago2016.org/index.php/author/psandusky/

 

The program is being offered as part of DePaul’s “Lunch and Learn” series offered by DePaul’s Management Development Center.  The $30 registration fee will include a box lunch.
