“Systemic Risk - Financial Bubbles and Fads” will be the subject of a panel discussion sponsored by DePaul University’s Fred Arditti Center for Risk Management Nov. 7. The free, public event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Room 8005 of the DePaul Center, 1 E. Jackson Blvd.
Three prominent finance executives will lend their expertise to the discussion:
The Fred Arditti Center for Risk Management at DePaul’s College of Commerce was launched with a $1 million grant from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Trust in 2006. The center promotes excellence in teaching and research in the fields of risk and financial management and commemorates the work of the late futures industry pioneer Fred Arditti, a CME executive and 15-year DePaul finance faculty member, who died in 2005.
The Nov. 7 event is sponsored by the Arditti Center, CME Trust and Circle of Financial Opportunities, a DePaul finance alumni organization. For more information, contact Rickie L. Ryan: (312) 362-7163, rryan15@depaul.edu.
