Catch the Holiday Spirit with "Christmas at DePaul" Musical Program at DePaul University

DePaul University will host a dramatic musical retelling of the Christmas story on Friday, Dec. 14, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1010 W. Webster Ave., at DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus.

The elaborate holiday program will include a combined 200-person choir and a 50-piece DePaul student orchestra. The 50-minute program is a collaborative effort between DePaul’s School of Music and Theatre School that will feature dramatic lighting by Theatre School Dean John Culbert, an award-winning lighting designer.

There will be two performances that are open to the public on Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The programs are free, but donations for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry are requested. Seating is limited and attendees are asked to register at http://secretary.depaul.edu/Christmas or by calling 312-362-8458.
