DePaul Extends Its International Reach, Presenting Diplomas To 26 MBA Students In Bahrain

DePaul University, in partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), held a commencement ceremony Dec. 5 for 26 students graduating from the MBA program jointly offered by the two educational institutions in Manama, Bahrain.

The Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, C.M., DePaul president, presented diplomas to the students, who represent the third class to graduate from the MBA program launched by DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and the BIBF in 2001. The commencement speaker was Rasheed M. Al-Maraj, governor of the Bahrain Monetary Authority.

During his visit to Bahrain, Father Holtschneider also attended a meeting on the importance of cooperative education hosted by Bahrain Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
