DePaul University Will Host Illinois Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn’s Speech About The Environment And Ethics Oct. 18

Illinois Lieutenant Governor Patrick Quinn will discuss “Building a Healthful Environment for This and Future Generations” at DePaul University Oct. 18. Sponsored by the Institute for Business & Professional Ethics (IBPE) at DePaul’s College of Commerce, the free, public event begins at 2 p.m. in room 8005 of the DePaul Center, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

As Illinois’ 45th Lieutenant Governor, Quinn has made protecting the state’s environment one of his main priorities. He chairs the Illinois River Coordinating Council, a 13-member alliance of citizens, grassroots and not-for-profit organizations, state and federal agencies and river enthusiasts that coordinates private and public funding for restoration of the Illinois River and its tributaries.

Founded in 1985 and guided by a 26-member board drawn from Chicago’s corporate community, the IBPE fosters educational programs and public forums that explore and promote ethical practices in organizations.

To RSVP or for more information, call the IBPE at 312/362-8786.
