Learn Creativity Techniques at Workshop on DePaul University's O'Hare Campus

Want to find new ways to be creative and innovative to advance your career and personal life?

Ellis Confer, founder and president of Outrageous Innovation Inc., will help participants work on their creative potential in a two-hour workshop, “Becoming Idea-centric” on May 30 on DePaul University’s O’Hare Campus, located at 3166 S. River Road, second floor, in Des Plaines. The workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and costs $20.

Confer, who also serves as an instructor with DePaul University’s School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems, possesses 20 years of consulting experience in helping people and companies identify and achieve their goals. He has done extensive research and developed creating thinking principles. In his workshop, Confer will help participants learn specific innovation and creativity techniques.

Outrageous Innovation functions as a business and technology management consultancy and as an innovation think tank. Confer previously held positions with Andersen Consulting, IBM, Ernst & Young and Tandem.

This is one of several life-enhancing workshops DePaul is offering this spring on its five suburban campuses.
