DePaul University Hosts Career Enhancement Forum at O'Hare Campus Nov. 9
Students, alumni and prospective students will have the opportunity to learn from a panel of business leaders, educators and career strategists at the Career Enhancement Forum, which will be held Nov. 9, from noon to 4 p.m. at DePaul University’s O’Hare Campus, 3166 South River Road, 2nd Floor, Des Plaines.
The event, which is sponsored by the Career Center at DePaul, will feature panel discussions of strategies for approaching today’s volatile work environment, such as risk taking and lifelong career management and learning. Several workshop sessions also will be offered, including one led by USAToday.com online career counselor David Helfand, author of the best-selling book, "Career Change: Everything You Need to Know to Meet New Challenges and Take Control of Your Career."
The educational event also will offer networking opportunities with local professionals in the business, technology and non-profit sectors.
"The goal is to help students and alumni stay ahead of the curve in the job market,” said Donna Del Giudice, assistant director of the Career Center. “Forum participants will be able to network with industry leaders to gain valuable insight on navigating today’s workplace challenges."
