DePaul Named Among The Best Part-Time MBA Programs In Bottom Line Personal

DePaul University’s part-time MBA program has been named by the co-publisher of MBA Jungle magazine as one of the five best part-time MBA programs in the nation in a story published in the Nov. 1 issue of the 1.5 million-circulation Bottom Line Personal newsletter.

In the article, titled “Boost Your Career, Top MBA Programs,” Jon Housman, cofounder of the MBA Jungle, names the five best part-time MBA programs as: DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business, Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business; New York University’s Stern School of Business, and University of California, Los Angeles’s Anderson School. The story also includes Housman’s picks for the best MBA programs in entrepreneurship, finance, general management, international business, marketing, nonprofit management and technology/e-commerce.

“If you have lost your job or are interested in switching careers or advancing the one you have, you may want to get a Masters in Business Administration (MBA),” the Bottom Line Personal story advises. “It really does pay off—at least financially. U.S. Census data indicate that lifetime earnings of people with graduate degrees average 114% more than people with only bachelor degrees.”

Arthur Kraft, dean of DePaul’s business school, welcomed Kellstadt’s inclusion on the list of best part-time MBAs. “This endorsement underscores our commitment to providing working professionals with a high quality, pragmatic program of graduate business study that boosts career advancement.”

Based in Stamford, Conn., Bottom Line Personal is a national semimonthly newsletter that offers career, investing and personal tips provided by experts. The New York-based MBA Jungle is a national magazine for MBA students and young professionals and has a circulation of 125,000.
