Forum To Discuss Future Of Technology Jobs For Women At DePaul University’s Loop Campus February 22

WHAT: The DePaul University chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery’s Women’s Special Interest Group and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau are hosting a panel discussion forum, “Finding the Work You Love: Tools and Techniques for Today’s Tight Job Market.” Four women who are leaders in the local technology industry will share their insights on the current labor market and its future, as well as how others can succeed in landing the perfect technology career. The forum also will offer networking opportunities.

WHO: The panel includes the following experts:

· Carol Anderson, vice president of information systems, Exelon Corporation, Nuclear division

· Nancy Chen, regional administrator, U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau

· Aisha Ghori, DePaul University Career Center, advisor for students in the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems (CTI), the nation’s largest technology graduate school.

· Joyce Knauff, president, Joyce Knauff Associates
