Outstanding Faculty Scholarship And Research To Be Honored At DePaul’s O’Hare Campus November 2
DePaul University will honor 13 faculty members for their commitment to fostering knowledge and understanding through research and scholarship at its O’Hare Campus on Friday, November 2. The reception event, co-sponsored by DePaul University Suburban Libraries, will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the O’Hare Campus, 3166 South River Road, 2nd Floor, Des Plaines.
The event will recognize the expertise that these faculty members bring to their classrooms and to the communities where they live and work. Honorees come from a range of DePaul colleges and departments, including experts on leadership, workplace stress and burnout, performance management and employee discipline. These educators have displayed their publications and research at the O’Hare Campus library since April 2001.
“This event is an effort to raise community awareness of academic achievement in DePaul’s suburban campuses, as well as to recognize faculty members for their research and creative works,” said Kurtis Todd, DePaul University suburban campus administrator. “By utilizing the research interest of faculty, DePaul serves as a resource link for local communities in the northwest suburbs.”
DePaul faculty and staff, community business and industry leaders, local government officials and area residents all are scheduled to attend the event. For more information, contact DePaul’s O’Hare Campus at 847/296-5348.
