Workplace Multiculturalism, Media Morality, Technology Practices And Bio-Ethics Issues Will Be Explored At DePaul Ethics Conference
Multiculturalism in the workplace, morality in the media, food bio-ethics and technology privacy are among the issues that will be explored when DePaul University’s Institute for Business & Professional Ethics (IBPE) hosts the Eighth Annual International Conference Promoting Business Ethics. The conference will be held Oct. 24 to 26 in the Grand Ballroom of the Standard Club, 320 S. Plymouth Court.
This annual conference on ethics practices and teaching is held on a rotating basis by one of three Catholic Vincentian universities—DePaul, St. John’s or Niagara universities. DePaul’s College of Commerce and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences co-founded the IBPE in 1985 as a forum for exploring and furthering ethical practices in organizations.
The conference fee is $300 per person. For more information, call 312/362-8770 or visit the IBPE web site: http://www.depaul.edu/ethics/.
