Anne S. Drennan Joins DePaul Board Of Trustees

Anne S. Drennan, senior vice president of Alliance Capital Management L.P. in New York, has been elected to the DePaul University Board of Trustees.

Drennan, 44, a resident of New Jersey, graduated from DePaul’s School of Accountancy with high honors in 1981 and has been a member of DePaul’s College of Commerce Advisory Council since 1998.

A 1986 MBA graduate from the University of Chicago, Drennan served as director of financial markets at McDonald’s Corp.; first vice president and director of long-term funding for Merrill Lynch & Co.; and managing director of First Chicago Trading Consultants before joining Alliance Capital Management in 1995. With nearly $388 billion in assets, Alliance is a leading provider of diversified investment management services to institutional and individual investors.

“Anne Drennan’s insights as a business leader and distinguished DePaul School of Accountancy graduate are welcome additions to the board of trustees,” said Edward A. Brennan, chairman of DePaul’s Board of Trustees.

Drennan said: “DePaul’s caring environment that fosters student development, a strong network of faculty and administration professionals and a growing reputation for excellence helped shape my business career. I welcome the opportunity to expand my work on behalf of the university with fellow trustees to further advance DePaul’s leadership position in higher education.”
