Conant, a native of Pryor, Okla., now living in Germany, has recorded a highly acclaimed CD of trombone and organ music and has appeared internationally as a soloist, recitalist and feminist performance artist. In the last three years she has performed in more than 30 American cities. Schooled at Temple, Yale and Juilliard, Conant performed as solo trombonist of the Royal Opera of Turin from 1979-80 and for the Munich Philharmonic from 1980 to 1993.
