Brad Opland, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Bassist, And The Scharoun Ensemble Will Perform And Host Open Rehearsal Oct. 17

Brad Opland, professor of bass at DePaul University’s School of Music and a member of The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will join the Scharoun Ensemble, a group of chamber musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic, and other DePaul faculty members in a performance of Schubert's "Trout" on Oct. 17. The 7:30 p.m. concert at the DePaul Concert Hall, 800 W. Belden Ave., is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.

Prior to the concert, the musicians will host an open rehearsal at 4:30 p.m. in the DePaul Concert Hall for music students from DePaul, Roosevelt and Northwestern universities.
