Robert Clifford To Give Insider's View Of Rachel Barton Case At
DePaul College Of Law
Robert Clifford and Kevin Durkin, the lawyers who represented Rachel Barton in her $29 million victory against Metra, will visit DePaul University to provide an insider’s view of the types of technology they employed to successfully represent Barton. "The Use of Technology in the Barton Case," will be held at 4 p.m. April 8, at the DePaul College of Law, 25 E. Jackson Blvd., Room 905.
Clifford and Durkin, who are both graduates of the DePaul College of Law, will discuss some of the specific details of representing Barton in the high-profile litigation. They also will perform many of the computer simulations used during the trial and illustrate how they used video instead of court transcripts to impeach witnesses.
Reporters interested in attending this informal demonstration and discussion should contact Valerie Phillips in media relations at 312/362-5039.
