DePaul Appoints Director of Community Outreach for Enrollment Management

Glenna Ousley has joined the DePaul University Enrollment Management Division as director of community outreach. She previously served seven years as director of minority affairs for the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In her new role at DePaul, Ousley will provide leadership for the division in establishing new relationships with the Chicago schools and organizations.

"Emphasis will be placed on working with the City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago public high schools and appropriate community agencies to develop programs and activities to support the enrollment of a diverse student body," said Raymond Kennelly, dean of admission.

Ousley is a contributing writer at N’Digo newspaper and has worked as a consultant for Northwestern Memorial Hospital. From 1981 to 1987, she served as an assistant director for admission at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ousley resides in Chicago’s Chatham community with her husband LeRoy and their two children.
