Chicago String Quartet to Play New Program Featuring Stravinsky, Schubert and Haydn at April 14 Concert

The Chicago String Quartet, in residence at DePaul University, has changed the program for its 14th concert. The quartet -- violinists Joseph Genualdi and Stefan Hersh, violist Rami Solomonow and cellist Christopher Costanza -- will perform Stravinsky's Three Pieces for String Quartet, Schubert's String Quartet in D minor, d.810, "Death and the Maiden," and Haydn's String Quartet No. 14 in F Major, Op. 77, No. 2.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the DePaul Concert Hall, 800 W. Belden Ave. Tickets are $25 per person and discounts are available for senior citizens and students. Proceeds benefit the DePaul School of Music Scholarship Fund. For tickets, call (312) 922-1999.
