DePaul Legal Experts Monitor Unabomber Proceedings

As jury selection continues in the federal trial of Theodore Kaczynski, the alleged Unabomber, law professors at DePaul University are available to provide expert commentary on various aspects of the case.

Kaczynski is accused of committing four of the 16 bombings attributed to the Unabomber. The case is being heard in Sacramento, Calif., before U.S. District Judge Garland Burrell. DePaul’s experts will be available to discuss:

CASE OVERVIEW

Associate Professor and Associate Dean Leonard Cavise is a veteran trial lawyer who has practiced civil and criminal law in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. He is an expert on issues involving criminal law. Cavise can be reached at 312/362-6841.

Professor Stephan Landsman is a nationally recognized expert on the civil jury system. He has earned an outstanding reputation for his ongoing study of the American jury system, and is a leader in applying social science methods to legal problems. Landsman can be reached at 312/362-8701.
