Name Changes Example: Jane User-- JUSERThe Outlook account is based on the PeopleSoft account created by Human Resources. Name changes as result of marriage or any other legal reason must first take place in the PeopleSoft database. You must first contact Human Resources and work with them to update your employee information in the PeopleSoft database. Once this step is completed, you can submit a name change request to netadmin@depaul.edu.
Storage Management Every evening at 11 pm, the Outlook server searches for messages whose "life" has exceeded 90 days and automatically deletes the message. This deletion is permanent, and the messages cannot be recovered.
Account Management When an individual leaves the university, it is the responsibility of the immediate manager or supervisor to contact the network administration team. When network administration receives notification, the requested account will be disabled and removed from system viewing for two weeks from the date of request. After the second week, the account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. At the end of every academic quarter, network administration will run an accounting query to identify Outlook accounts that have been inactive for more than 90 days. Those accounts will be disabled and removed from system viewing for 90 days. At the end of this 90 day period, the accounts will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. Attachments (Size Limits)
All e-mail attachments are limited to 100 MB.
